My youngest started school and I was slowly sinking back to how I used to be which was not showering not dressing just slopping about in my nightie all day everyday and not going out.....

Hubby dragged me to the local charity shop and there I filled in a form to be a volunteer one day a week (Monday all day) and they want me to start next week ! I actualy said yes ..... petrified is a word I would use lmao BUT I know in the long run it will do me good going and meeting people just one day a week.
Thanks for this!

It is hard when the children start school, my heart goes out to you for that.

But how good is it that you are going to do some voluteering!

As they say, when one door closes another one opens!

As much as I love all of you here, I finally (with the help of my case manager) did manage to get some volunteer work lined up with the state NAMI office here in Phoenix. I start Wednesday. It will be good for me. I need the contact.

Good for you, Tishie. And good for your hubby. Sounds like a good man.

(((Tishie))) I'm so glad! You're such a social person I think you'll enjoy yourself. Rich is so clever, give him a hug for me!

That's a great idea to get out and volunteer, my T keeps trying to get me to do something like that but I still have one kid not in school, I hope this goes well for you.

I am so very proud of you girl! You have so much to offer this world and I would hate to think of you mulling around the house stinking to the high heavens (But I would still love ya! LOL)

I definitely meant that I am proud of you and that you have a lot to offer. Dear Rich certainly knows his stuff and knows you enough to act and help you.

I can understand the part about being scared.....we all have some kind of fear going into something we've never done before and meeting new folks. There can be a real excitement in that as well. And remember....it's the first day that can be the hardest with the fear...after that, you are golden!

You go girl!
