Hello. I'm studying personal development modules as part of an acupuncture degree. I'm looking to develop an issue thats cropped up throughout my life - showing off and talking for the sake of saying "look at me. Look how clever I am!". I'm looking at a transactional analysis of being the eldest sybling, competing with a slightly younger sister and the move from positive to negative strokes over a childhood progressing from academic success to a lifetime of self-sabotage and lying.

Can anybody give me direction on where to go with this...any good literature or links?

Thank you for your consideration. Lifes pretty good and full of opportunities nowadays, having worked through a lot of my issues. I'll like to understand why it has'nt been.
