Yesterday I saw a neurologist specializing in hands. He diagnosed either tendonitis or a bone spur on my wrist. Wear a thumb splint to immobilize hand, take ibuprofen, type less.

I turned down the x-rays to see if it's a bone splint, due to low income. However, I wore the thumb splint to bed and this morning my wrist and arm hurt clear to the elbow -- about 10 times worse than it ever has so far.

Does anyone have any experience with the thumb splint, tendonitus, bone spurs, to share?
