This looks like a great book Hulk Hogan has put out, he is so much more of a man than I thought he was, he obviously has depth, I feel, after I read the excerpt from the book. He verbalizes a lot of what we all feel here at PC, the feeling that comes after a depression- the new appreciation of life and all it has to offer...

keep in mind he is a celebrity and too old to bring in much income from wrestling and now no tv show since his family is not intact.
but just enough well known to do the book and talk show circuit.... he is exploiting everything |

I don't mind because like you said he is old so he isn't going to bring in money from wrestling and there is no show anymore. But he wants the income so why not? At least some good may come out of this

What I've gotten out of his purpose is not exploitation, whatsoever. Seems to me that since he has found his new path, the experience of the revival in itself is enough for him to want to share with others, as well.
Perhaps, for Terry, it was more of a rebirth for him, and with that new found awareness, he is compelled to reach out and help others. Granted, revenues from his "offerings" are earned, but seems to me that those are earnings well deserved. It's not like he's seeking pity, or donative support. After all, if he can make a buck or two here and there from a life that HE lived, why not? Especially with the message he is sharing now. It's not about the Hollywood garbage associated with that life, it's about a hard lesson learned as a result from that kind of life lived. If he touches even ONE life, and can provide that one soul salvation from destruction, then seems to me those are revenues WELL earned. Bravo, Terry! Shangrala ![]()

Hulk Hogan was the person you see a very long time ago before his wrestling and other career interests, as well as his family, went away. I have followed his career and he has always been a stand-up guy. This side of him has never surfaced because, obviously, he's never experienced it before.

A number of celebrities suffer from various mental health issues. I read an article today that detailed David Beckham's fight with OCD! Who would have thought?

I don't know much about Hulk Hogan, but I have seen him in photos watching his daughter dance on a stripper pole and he's rubbed lotion or whatever on her, with his hands in places I don't think a father should touch. Just creepy to me.
I didn't know David Beckham has OCD. That sucks for him.
