I was'nt going to go outside today but I had to check on my boys cause they were palying outside in the woods. And the weather is perfect for fall: sunny 60deg. I love the smell of the leaves and all of the colors everywhere. Almost makes me feel normal

I love it too!

I used to pile up leaves and kick around in them as a child in the park!

I think I'm long over-due to pile up some leaves again!
I will.... lots of parks around here.

Thanks for this thread... it is a lovely time of year ~ reflecting changes, and how our perceptions of change can be positive.

Very life-affirming, ThunderBear. Glad you got outside and came to here to share it with us

Peace and Happy Autumn,
Night

Peace and Happy Autumn,
Night
Me and my son piled some leaves up the other day. I did'nt kick or jump in them though (getting a little too broken to do that lol) but my boy had a blast. We made a scare-crow out of old clothes and leaves. I'm going to post some pictures of it tonight.

Oooh!!

I love Fall too!

I love the trees like these...that look like they are on fire with color. Like the sun set lives in them!!

Thank you lisasays for the pretty picture. And thank you Thunderbear for bringing up loving Fall.

Makes me long for warm over-sized sweaters and hot apple cider. Tonight, outside I can smell the firewood burning.

It smells like home!!

The leaves here are now all on the ground instead of on the trees, but I thought I'd share these pics:

I love fall - it's my second favourite season. i'm really lucky, my office has a huge window, overlooking greenspace and a residential area, with lots of trees. They're all really colourfull right now and it's really pretty.

I love fall too. The weather is nice here now, between the cold winters and hot summers. It is also great weather to go for walks with the dog; we both enjoy it.

Fall is my favorite season. Problem is that here in MN, we got slapped straight into winter!!!! Doesn't look like I am getting a fall this year!

Here in Arizona, fall looks EXACTLY like summer, except you don't see those heat waves coming off of the freeway like you do when it's 112degrees! I really miss the turning of the leaves back in Kansas!

Oh, Toto, where are you??????

I also love fall.
Whenever I think about fall it reminds me of that beautiful song from James Taylor ("You got a friend").
"winter, spring, summer and fall...all you got to do is call...and I'll be there...You got a friend".

The trees where I live all look so pretty. I was driving on Thursday and I just enjoyed all the beautiful colors.

Fall is the most beautiful time of year. Kind of lame in FL though. We don't really get all the stunning colours. It does make me want to curl up with a cup of hot tea though.......Thanks
