Secret window is adapted from a Stephen King story. Once I'm done unpacking I can figure out which of his short story anthologies it's from, it's an even better read than the movie.

Also, The Aviator. I saw it this past weekend. Gosh, its scary when I can relate to something so well.

I think either really. I find it educational if the mental illness is being portrayed in an accurate manner. Keep em' coming Sky. Any more?

How about Pink Floyd's The Wall?
Anyone? A Clockwork Orange The first part of Full Metal Jacket not necessarily mental illness, but they involve some sort of "losing it" factor in the movie. |

Is what about bob on dvd or vhs? I tried looking for it at a leading australian dvd companys website but it didnt come up. I might have to import it from the US, hopefully theres a dvd version as i dont have a vhs player

Hey,
If you guys have a taste for Japanese anime, then "Perfect Blue" and "Millenium Actress" are both excellent flicks dealing with dissociative disorders. There are actually quite a few Japanese films that are real brainteasers, so I would encourage everyone to check them out. Oh, and I just saw "The Aviator" for the first time tonight, and it's scary just how accurately DiCaprio portrays an OCD-afflicted individual. I can absolutely relate, which is kinda sad. Also, I agree that "Donnie Darko" is a great movie that really keeps you wondering long after it has ended. If I think of any more, I'll be sure to share. Ciao, ~Alexiel

Ooooh, that's a good one comlic8d. I loved that movie and never associated it with PTSD (which is my dx) but your right. I have to watch it again now.
