Has anyone experienced intense crying spells where you cried so hard you could hardly breathe? I suffered from depression since childhood and never experienced this until about 6 months ago. The odd thing is that when it happens it seems to come out of nowhere. I am not aware of thinking sad thoughts at these times, I just start crying.

Yes, this has happened to me. Not recently but I have been through it. No explanation, but I guess it is just part of the process.

Hang in there.

Yes.... been doing that a lot lately... sometimes its associated with feeling hopeless... other times its a anxiety release of stress when I feel overwhelmed from a stressful situation.

Wow! My heart goes out to you. I can't imagine that happening nearly everyday. I wish I had magic words to change that but I don't. But for whatever it is worth, I do care. Peace - Dennis

I am beginning to see that it is more common than I thought. Someone should create a crying chatroom. Stay together. - Dennis
