I have taken my usual sleeping pill Ambien with a Pain Pill and a full dose of Benadryl and I am still unable to get to sleep.... let alone stay asleep for more than three hours once I get there.......

What to do What to do

I am sorry you can't sleep. I sorta can't sleep either. Only advice I can give is what I am giving myself.. And that is to find a boring movie on tv, maybe that will help me sleep.... I have noticed over the years that when I watch a "preacher" on tv, I tend to fall asleep really fast...

Rituals before bed? Warm bath, lotion skin, warm milk, soft jammies, warm bed, lights out, white noise...hopeful sleep.

Doing a litany of repetitive things that tells your body and mind that it's sleepy time.

Just a little food for thought. I hope it gets better. I can so relate.

Rhapsody,

Have you got extra things on your mind, causing you to be anxious - thinking about stuff?

Not any more than usual... I go through spells where I do nothing but sleep and then others where I am lucky to get four hours a night in - the life of ME can suck at times.
