Hi everyone,

I've recently been experiencing a relapse in depression and PTSD symptoms and was thinking of restarting journaling online. I'm an old LiveJournal user, but I really want to get a sense of community and outside opinions going and hear from other people on my posts. Yet, I also want a certain amount of anonymity in case anyone in my personal life ever goes snooping around online.

Does anybody know what the options are for journaling/support groups online? I really want a journal-leave comments approach more than a message board or thread approach. Thanks!

hey neil!

so i just started my own online journal. i used wordpress.com, because it is multifaceted and there are SO many things to do with it. blogpress is, i guess, easier to handle, but if you can read you can do wordpress. anyone can leave comments, and it is a great way to contact other people in your situation.

in my signature there is a URL. that's my journal!! let me know what you think.

oh and in wordpress you can search for other blogs that match what you are searching for. then you can comment on those blogs, connect with other people, and voila you have an online community!!

If MySpace and Facebook aren't too much, you can get comments on your blogs, images and photos, and your main page itself.

If you just want a journaling site, try Blogger.com, Blurty.com or WordPress.com.
