Is anyone taking vitamins as part of their treatment? What and how much are you taking? Have you noticed them helping? Did your pdoc tell you what to take?

Thanks for your help!

I take a Vit B supplement which is supposed to help with stress and nervous energy. Don't know if it does but I take it anyway.

I think vitamin B helps with anxiety. I know my anxiety was at its worst before I got diagnosed with vitamin B12 deficiency but now that I get the injections for it once a month, I've noticed a huge difference with the level of my anxiety. I also heard that magnesium is good to take for anxiety but I've never tried it. I think also vitamin D helps with depression.

I take a whole host of viatmins, but the only one that's affected my mood is vitamin D.

I started to take it as a supplement for calcium for bone density, but noticed after I'd been on it a couple of weeks that there was a real improvement in my mood.

I've been supplementing with 2000 mg. of vit. d3 daily and a multi for about 5 months now. It does seem to keep me from experiencing the winter blahs quite so severely. I might be kidding myself though.
