Can anyone tell me if there is a mental hospital for people without insurance?

My son does not have insurance so when he needed admission to psychiatric hospital I filed mental hygiene petition on him and the state paid for his hospital stay.

Go to the ER they can tell you if there is a free clinic in your area.. Here where I live they have a clinic called Stewart Marchmens Act.. It;s a small hospital for people with out insurance..I was sent there from the ER..

I would say it depends on your age.. If you are a minor then you will probably have to have a parent with you...
