Hi y'all

Well got the internet back (yay!!) Ben off my Celexa for about 2 weeks and I feel pretty good. I went off of it on my own. I know, I know you ain't supposed to do that but oh well. I do feel good though. my son attacked me a month ago and hurt my neck so I went to the ER and they did x-rays and found a deformity in my spine and severe arthritis in it and my left shoulder. Then 3 days ago i found out my best friend has full blown aids and he's coming home next week and I'm worried about that. If all this had of come on me last year I would have lost my mind but I'm handeling it pretty well. I have my days when I get crazt obsessive thoughs running around but I try to busy my self and tht helps. Well I guess I'll see you guys more from now on.

Glad you got your internet back. Please be careful about going off your medicine on your own. I am speaking from experience. I was fine for a couple of months and then had to start the whole process over with an extra med. Enjoy your friend's visit.

It sounds like you have a lot going on right now that you're having to deal with. Between the actions of your son, your friend's illness and your own injury you've got some major stressors in your life.

I'm certainly not an expert, but I have to wonder if this is the right time to try stopping your Celexa. I fear that faylowell may be right in this instance and you will have to start from the beginning again.

I hope things continue to go well for you. I'm wishing you well and sending good thoughts your way.

(((T-Bear))) Do you have anyone that can help you keep an eye on you? That way if they see your symptoms returning they can have your permission to tell you. Its a good idea, because you may not know by yourself if youre having simple depression from lifes everyday ups and downs or a more serious depression related to chemical imbalance. It would be a good idea to also let the Dr. who prescribed you the Celexa know that your off it. Even if you just call the office and let them write it in your chart. It is necessary for your health that they be able keep accurate records for future reference, even if they never have to put you on the Celexa again. The date you stopped is a very important record. I hope you dont have to go back on it. Be well sweetie!!!
