It's after midnight & I am so frustrated & angry b/c my DH of 22 1/2 years; (who already watches The Weather Channel 24/7) now has a major hurricane named after him, "Dennis" (even tho' he goes by the name "Denny") He cheers the hurricane on b/c he says it's the first hurricane of the season & thus, bear his "namesake" If I see one more TWC report on this hurricane; he's going to see a "tornado" ripping through his ***! Tired of TWC!!!!!

sigh let him revel... the name will be retired. and IRL his attitude will have nothing to do with where the hurricane goes or doesn't

The hurricane has landed in Pensacola... but the tails are into Fl and all... since they are east of where the eye was... hope all is well up there, and hope to hear from our members there soon! I still have my shutters closed, think I will lock them now.. because there are more storms a coming!

i have to admit since im a storm freak and im in a area thats to get 10inchs of rain im excited. I love tstorms and things .. i have been on storm chasing and it was the best experience i could have had ...
ive been directly hit on where a hurricane hits = 3 times ive been where a tornado hits on where hits directly = too many to name (lived in northen texas and oklahoma) and yes ive seen major major damage im sad about the damage and things but i love them persay. |
