As I posted previously, through a mix up between my psychiatrist, my mail order prescription service and my insurance company I've been without Lexapro since last Sat. and this withdrawal really sucks. I'm dizzy, nauseous, have uncontrollable shakes, and brain stingers. Worse yet I'm starting to get depressed about the whole situation. The lesson I've learned from this is that if you can help it, don't stop your meds cold turkey. shaggy

Shaggy

I'm sorry you are going through this. I know when I go for more than about 36 hours without my Cymbalta I start to get the shakes and chills and the brain stinger things. Those are the WORST!! They start out as little zap-like feelings, but as time goes on they start radiating down my spine and throughout my body...then I get the goose bumps, but they don't go away...it's like my thermal system goes wonky.

I wish there was some way that your Doc could give you some samples. Or even call in a small scrip to the ER and have them fill it. You could go in and pick it up from them.

Again...I'm so sorry, and hang in there. I hope you get your meds soon.
