I just came across this site today. Seems interesting. Just thought I'd mention it to anyone who is curious.

Hey Fried,

I looked at it but the search doesn't seem to work. Just out of curiosity (I still want a lively hood first) I typed in my criteria and kept getting back the following.

" There are no members that match your requirements.
For better results you may want to search again relaxing some of your criteria ... "

That was the results no matter what I entered, maybe I should seek animals or aliens within a 10 light year radius. Online social community for adults with mental illness Online social community for adults with mental illness

Well that's nothing new for me, lol. Well in the mean time I'll continue to met with my dream lovers Online social community for adults with mental illness I guess Online social community for adults with mental illness

I'm not all that familiar with how the site works. I have not used the search feature that you are talking about yet.

You could try signing up and see what happens.

I'm already uncomfortable with being signed up with that site. My self-esteem is low enough as it is and I don't think labeling myself as "mentally ill" will help much.

I want to corespond with people who I can relate to, but that doesn't mean we all have to be "mentally ill," does it?

It just seems rather awkward to me now.

I felt the same way: uncomfortable. I began to go there... and maybe got to home page but./???? why on earth would I ask for more trouble looking for someone who is also mentally suffering? No, I won't do that. Once you list on a place like that, you will "always" be listed as mentally ill, imo. Anyway, nice thought.

me too I felt too uncomfortable and did not go there...I started but then stopped for the same reason...I hate being labeled already with a mental illness and I have PC to come and talk to people and post my concerns...I do not need another place....thanks for the thought
