you would think the priorities would get in order but noooooooo why should i work during the day when i can eat food and watch daytime tv? what the %#@&#! am i doing?

Priorities don't set themselves, Cat. YOU have to set them.
Have you thought that working during the day allows you to eat all you want in the evenings and days off? I'm sorry that you're having such a bad time.
