I don't know if this is the right place to put this, but I don't know where else it fits. I'm feeling really really lonely. I feel unloved. And this is bad because it is the start of my weekend since I only have class Tuesday and Thursday. I can go to Tuesday without having contact with anyone. And if I do have contact, it will be with someone who works at the library. So not the same thing as real contact. I'm feeling sad. Why?

AAWWW Googley, your not alone. We are here, you know there is always someone around here that you can talk too. I know it's not the same as a warm body or smiling face but it is the next best thing. A big and lots of .

As both posters above said, although it's not quite the same as a real life person, we are here for you whenever you need us. Many people on this site care about you a lot. You are special to us.

And as an added comment, have you ever considered joining a community group of some sort in order to add more social interaction to your life? Perhaps getting a membership at the gym, or joining a book club? Even a mental health support group? Just wondering...you might end up finding it very helpful/fun.

Thank you all so much for you loving replies. They make me want to cry (in a good way). I know you all care about me. But sometimes I need a reminder. And of course you all are wonderful enough to remind me when I need it. Thank you so much. Hugs to you all.

Lonely is really hard. But remember, as others have said, we're all here for you. In my time here on PC you've given me support and I've come to care about you.

Sometimes when I'm feeling really lonely it helps to go out just to a coffee shop and sit and have a coffee and be around people.

I can relate. I have a tendency to avoid being alone. While some people may have me in their thoughts occasionally, that isn't a real comfort to me in my dark times. Coming into PC helps me feel less alone (in many aspects).

Many of the members here do hold a special place in my heart. People that I frequently think about ~ and hope for ~ you're one those members! I hope that the times eases by for you. Gentle hugs to you...
