Hello,
I've been reading posts and seeing all the posts I'm subscribed to. I went looking at them and I have NO memory of writing half of them; no memory at all and I am a little concerned about that. My mood has been up and down the last couple of weeks and I've had a few memory problems, but seeing all these things I am supposed to have written but have no memory of is disconcerting. Some of what I write I can recognise as mine but some of them I think "I couldn't have written that". How does one keep track of what they have written? How does one remember when they can't admit to writing something? Just what causes this? I can see I will have to write this down in my journal to take to the doctor so I can tell her what is happening. Any help will be very much appreciated, Rhiannon Add from another post I made incase it is relevant I thought it might be medication related at first but I've always been this way worse at some times than others and I've found myself the last couple of days zoning out when I don't think I normally do that. My partner commented on it last night; I was surprised because I didn't think I'd zoned out at all. He told me I'd been doing it constantly, some times up to 3 or 4 times an hour or more and at times completely ignoring him when he spoke to me, as if he wasn't there at all...I don't know what this is...

Well, it could be medication, yes.
Or it could be menopause-- if my memory serves me right, you are nearing that time?? there are many articles on how women going through menopause have all kinds of memory struggles. It could be a low thyroid too-- that can cause memory problems.... there are just so so many things it could be. I think it's a good idea you are journaling about it and can take it in to the doctors when you go. wishing you the best ![]() fins

Thankyou fins,
I went through menopause at 34-36 I had a readical hysterectomy and they had to take everything and left nothing at all, they even had to take the cervix. So I had a hard couple of years back then. Went through it and came out really well and have had no issues since. But anything is possible..It could also be connected to epilepsy complex partial or simple partial sz's... Thanks again fins for taking the time to respond to me, it really is appreciated, Rhiannon
