|
I have a dilemma. I'm out of food, money, and food stamps for the month! I don't have an ounce of food in this place. My dad won't help me, my mom's dead, and my bf can't get any money from his payee to get groceries! We're really in a bind. I'm so scared and frustrated!

usually a community has a local food pantry for emergency foods. please call social services to find out if yours has one. also, many churches will help with food. i'd start with calling social services to see if there's a food pantry and if they're aware of churches or organizations that help in these emergency situations. good luck honey. i'm sorry this has happened. kd

most cities know where food banks are...if nothing else the police dept have a list of church's in every city/town that will help.

My dad came through and gave me some food till Friday. Friday my bf gets his money...thank God.

I wasn't sure the other day if I was still eligible for SSI, so of course I thought I'd never get anymore money from SSI. Well, I called them yesterday and found out that I was still getting my SSI and that I was only denied survivors benefits. That really makes my day!
