I am so frustrated with my job that I could screan,in fact,I probably will just to relieve some pressure.I had major brain surgery late year,I was out of work for 4 months and with my depression and the memory loss and loss of concentration work is becoming increasingly difficult. I have been out of work so much due to health issues,it's just really, really hard.I feel I'm at the end of my rope with my job and there's no knot at end.I'm barely hanging on.....feeling hopeless

Did you get disability when you were out of work? Do you have a social worker? Maybe you could get retraining for a "better" job or get disability longer/until you figure out something more healthful for you to do? I would call my doctors/social worker/therapist someone I liked who has helped me with my brain surgery problems the last year and see if they can help me with this problem?

Boy can I relate! I had major brain surgery two months ago. Turns out they misdiagnosed what kind of tumor I had so I basically had the wrong surgery. I'm mostly recovered from the surgery now, but am probably facing another major surgery and resulting facial paralysis. I'm back at work, but finding it very difficult to keep up. I'm very fearful that I'm going to lose my job and my health insurance. Feel hopeless and helpless.

Hello ((((Barbara Jo))))

I know how you feel hon work though a major supporter in life can be the major stressor in life.

If that rope has started to fray then tie lots of little knots in as many frayed ends as you can....There are always "other ways" of doing things which will lead to a happier frame of mind and a happier way of doing things...

You have a major claim here that will assist you should you need to be jobless.

My host could have been a millionairess had she taken to jury the druken doctor who operated on her body and caused a major disaster in her bowel and organs.

But tis her belief that all people make mistakes and learn from them. Which is true, but the doctor who operated on her is still a millionaire and still getting drunk before operating on vulnerable people, he learned nothing.

Take to jury the one who misjudged the illness that you must still face major barberism for. If you do indeed lose your job and health insurance then you will have enough money to at least see you through your health concerns

I'm with NuckingFutz. I haven't had work in two years except 2 months of caregiver work. I know you're frustrated but be glad you've still got a job. I've never worked anywhere that would be that patient with an employee no matter what the law says. Sounds like you've been through a lot though. Have to admire your stamina.

I'm ging through work frustrations too, and it helps me to journal about it, especially the things that are the most frustrating. Depending on your particular situation, it could be this one thing you can't seem to remember, or you blank out in situations that you used to know instantly....I donno. Your boss can have a positive or negitive impact as well, I hope he or she is support, becuase yalling at you about deadlines never helps either.

Whatever your going through, it's gotta be taxing to feel like your at your wits end with it all. I donno, I think talking/writing about it will help though, it sucks having to hold that much frustration in. I'm glad you wrote about what you're going through.

Take care.
