So this psychologist who is saying she will refer me to someone else, she got me a referral to a place that was far away. I told her where I live and that I would like somewhere close, but she chose the other end of town. Plus I asked for someone who worked after normal hours. She chose someone who worked 9 to 5. I don't know why I'm waiting for her to refer me to someone. I should just find my own psychologist. I just didn't think this was the kind of mistake she would be capable of. Or it's a lack of interest. Whatever.

Maybe that's the best she could do?? And then again, she MAY be acting in your BEST interest. Ever think of it that way? Maybe the person she referred you to can do the job better than someone who fits your time and location frame. I'd say it was worth giving this person a chance to prove themselves.

Are you sure SHE did it, or maybe delegated it to someone less knowing of your preferences? Did you find anyone closer, that you can bounce the name off of your T to see what she thinks? TC

It could be because the only one she new and trusted was the one across town. Might want to talk to her about it.

Keep pushing - however, don't take it personally. My T has a horrible time scheduling me whenever I need a new time change. They may do their job well but stuff outside the job may be better off handled by an assistant or someone else.

Could be slight incompetence that they don't listen to you and write down what you want. But insist that they didn't do what you asked and want to give them another chance to meet your needs.
