After the soldiers left here, they flew to Bangor, Maine. There, at around 3:00 a.m., they were met by the "Freedom Ladies", who gave them coffee, donuts, cookies, breakfast, etc. Then these ladies took hundreds of pictures and posted them on the internet for the families to see!!

Josh has called home twice. We think we know where he is, but he isn't allowed to tell us. We have the Google Earth map to try to keep up with him, as they move. Pray hard, friends. love, pat

How wonderful that you were able to see pictures of him and that he was able to call. I remember when husband deployed. Those calls were cherished to the max. I hope he is able to call frequently for you all. You all are in my thoughts.

thank you, i can't quit crying. when i start thinking about those ladies in Bangor and their kindnesses towards Josh's unit, it just overwhelms me. i am so thankful that his last interaction in the US, was with someone like them.

thank you all so much. i've finally quit crying. for now. i'm going to post in relationships about his mother, so i can get that off my chest and have closure on it. your support carries me day by day. xoxo pat
