I'm pleased to announce my godson was born lastnight at 8:30! They named him Christian Alexander... He is 6 pounds 9 ounces and is 21 inches long. He has a head full of black silky hair and is dark complected like his daddy. I'm keeping my goddaughter Mackenzie until Carrie gets out of the hospital with Christian.

I went by there today to see him and he is sooo precious and tiny. He was crying so I picked him up and he immediately stopped crying. He's so tiny, I felt a little nervous holding him to start with. I'm just so excited to have another baby around. My goddaughter is 2 years old now and she's bossy and thinks she's grown. Doesn't want anybody holding her anymore, so it's gonna be nice to have a baby boy around to hold and care for. This is the best news I've had in weeks!

Thanks so much! He's going to be spoiled rotten! Me and Kenzie are going tomorrow to pick him out a couple toys and buy him a few outfits. He's a preemy baby, so he doesn't have many cloths at all that fit.

(((((((((( EVERYONE ))))))))))

Thanks so much! Looking at him and holding him made me think about a lot of things. Think it's time for me to start putting things into action and changing some of my ways in my lifestyle so one day I can have a family too.

Bama,

It is amazing how holding a sweet innocent child will make us reflect on what we have doen and how we need to change ourselves. I know that huggin my kids will make me think of how I can make their life better than mine ever was.

Hold him tight and give extra hugs and kisses to you goddaughter too.

That's very true. I want to have a family of my own one day. I know that's not possible if I'm out doping it up and being careless. We all have to make changes throughout life, holding him made me want to make a change for the better. My godson was born lastnight!!!

I most certainly will. She's still my pride and joy and always will be. I've helped raise her, I love her as my own. She's an amazing little girl.

Thanks, I'd like to think I would be a great mom. When I had my son, I knew I wasn't quite ready to be a mommy but at the same time I knew I'd take care of him the best I could and love him with my all. But since he was a stillborn, I took that as a sign that it wasn't my time to be a mother yet. So I've been waiting patiently for when that right time comes. I know I'm young, but I've already lived the whole party life and "living it up", etc, etc... Now I'm ready to settle down and have a family of my own. That old life I was living is a life I don't ever want to live again.

My mom always tells me, "Things happen for a reason". Even though it annoys me, I think she is right. You'll be a mom when you are ready.

I agree with Petunia, when that time comes you'll be wonderful. For now, being a great auntie is a good start. Enjoy those little ones! They grow up way too fast!

1day, you're right. It'll happen when the right time comes. I will enjoy every second I can with the both of them. Because of how their mother is, I alreadyt know I'll have Mackenzie and Christian in my care a lot. I've always had Kenzie with me a lot. Gonna have to get used to having two little ones at one time, but I can do it. My godson was born lastnight!!!
