Yes when you live in a city like I do, sometime I like to escape in open places but it is mostly to bound with nature.
I also picked up 2 basquets of very red apples. Yum! Yum! Time0 |

I can't believe how hot this week has been. Humidity made it feel like over 30C, and smog alerts. Ya think it was summer, not October.
I take walks early in the mornings and I love walking in the fog and mist. So peaceful. |

I think I'd like to walk in the fog, too. I imagine that it would make you feel safe... all wrapped up in a blanket. Sacrier than heck driving in it, though!

Time0, I craved red apples when I was pregnant with my first child. My MIL had a flat of apples under her bed (don't ask me why) and when we'd go over, she'd go back to her room and come out with two apples for me. No one else got any.
When we'd go home, we'd stop by and get me some apple cobbler. LOL I still like apples, but now they make me hungry??? Go figure. __________________ Psalm 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. |

Over the past couple of weeks I have been able to be online more frequently and it has been great getting to know everyone.
I have to say that autumn is my favorite time of year also. Got so excited today when I saw that one of the trees in the neighborhood started to change color. colleen __________________ "Nothing should be prized more highly than the value of each day." ~ Goethe |

Trees are getting pretty here too. But it is very hot for this time of year.
I like walking in the fog too. Kind of a shield! Time0 |

We had East Winds blowing today which makes it hot! I hate the heat! Went back to the old house to make sure my animals were okay. Wound up giving the doves a shower. What fun! They just love to feel the water under their wings. Must cool them off. I drenched the bunny, too, but he wasn't as keen on getting wet. LOL Although he did sit still for a bit. Then I gave my flowers long drinks. Everything in pots is here at the new house. The way we're situated, I'll be able to take individual care of them. Silly me! I'm excited about being able to feed them, trim them and turn them this way and that... like they were babies. Oh, my! As if I don't have enough grandkids! LOL
We had such a mild summer... now watch, winter is going to be wrought with East Winds. Ooooh! I made tomato salad for dinner tonight! The tomatoes grew in my back yard! Amazing how home grown food tastes so much better! Anyone care for Roma tomatoes and those little yellow bell shapes ones? Can't remember what they're called, but they're YUUUUUMMMMMMMMY! I can feel the breeze coming from the ocean now, so it will be cool tomorrow. __________________ Psalm 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. |

I had a very important meeting today so had to go through my business clothes to see what still fit. One good skirt is way too big and one is way to small. I managed to hike up the big one. It felt good to be back in my work persona, even for just a bit.
Then I had to deal with human beings and now, at 11:20 pm I am so triggered I could scream. We are to have cooler weather tomorrow and that will make me feel better. I am still weak as a kitten from the pnuemonnia. Hopefully that will pass soon. Jan BTW, when I could eat them, I loved yellow apples. __________________ I still dream and I still hope, therefore I can take what comes today. Jan is in Lothlorien reading 'neath a mallorn tree. My car and renter's insurance cost just dropped $200 for this year!
My family's discovered we like Paula Red apples. They're small, crisp, and have a flavor similar to Granny Smith and MacIntosh. __________________ If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space! Rondeau |
