Well put, LMo, very good point. So what does it take to become a mod or admin?
This whole thing of people not trusting people, boggles me, 2 things: (1) people can be untrusting due to past experiences, which is understandable, but we cannot live our lives never trusting anyone, that would only breed misery and stand losing a chance or chances for real friendships. I know that cause I have been hurt in life trusting, people I later found out I was wrong to trust. I had then later gone through life that way, not trusting people, and it can get lonely. I have gradually dropped my "anti-trust" security shield, and have met many good people and even making friends, here and in 3D.
(2) When people do not "trust", it makes me ask myself, "is it the people that can't be trusted the one's that do not trust others"? Or is all due to being hurt from others they once trusted? I guess there can be so many answers with variations to this question, eh?
Okay, "trust" or "mistrust" can be quite a huge topic, with many fragments, some emotionally charged opinions, and decisions. The main thing here, at a support based website, it is important to have some trust sometimes, let's give it a try.

Thanks,
DE

I thought the nut comment was funny....

Well, actually hysterical............and true.....

to defend i think it was a broad statement, not referring to anyone in particular as nuts .........I MEAN, lets think about what this site is.....a psychology site......we are all nuts in our own way, maybe not psychopathic nuts but maybe nuts in an artistic creative way. Like Plath, Poe, Dickenson, Hemmingway...Einstein....must I go on.......Isn't this a forum for people who need support? Support for feelings that we sometimes feel are crazy. The comment was to lighten things up not to start an arguement about and pick apart every which way.....

Perhaps someone, not mentioning anyone in particular but maybe someone just is taking the comment the wrong way........it is humourous though...come on....reread it and think of it the way it was meant and not how you wish to take it............

Metaphores can be tricky I guess....

BTW, what was this thread about.....hmmm....oh yes, hey Welcome JustBen.....

imo Volunteering is the first step: sending DocJohn a PM with your desire to serve.

btw I spend much therapy time being reminded that using the terms "crazy" and "nuts" is not in my best interest.

imo this thread is indicative of the tension and highly charged feelings regarding big changes here at PC

Discussion, airing out opinions, asking for information.........all important.

Exercising common respect for each other and support is also important.

Mellors, you had a lot to say yourself. I vaguely remember you ordering me to read your little but loud complaint/post and when I refused to jump right on it, I believe if I am not mistaken that I was awarded profanity. Hmmm...i said all I wanted to say and have no patience or time for people of your nature who wish to lash out on others for expression of thought. Please leave me alone, I will ask this only once as I am not harrassing you nor having my friends harrass you for me. Thank you very much for respecting my wishes. I hope you have a great day!
Sending lots of love your way......I think you need a great bug hug....come here....let me smother in my good vibes to lift your foul mood.......Ahhh...Dont you feel so much better?

Why do I need to defend myself against something that someone blew way out of proportion? I ran from this stupid nonsense......I am not one to single out people and jsut start fights because I am pissed off at the world. Now please, leave me alone. I do not have to defend myself. Am I asking you to defend you? Am I attacking you? Did I swear at you in chat? Not once, but twice? Am I calling you out? No, I am not. I am just hugging you trying to bring you some love for your hostile world. Please, accept my love.

I get the feeling these threads have strayed from the original post, it's title.
Please, take this to Admin.and/or Moderator(s) for this forum or use such options like, "PM", or even "Ignore", if you cannot resolve things, than to continue arguing through threads.
Thanks,
DE

i appoligised in chat, twice, in front of two mods, i was shocked but not has shocked as your bare faced cheek in asking me how i was after posting this in here whilst i was in chat and denying any responsibility for your post, i dont care if you are on my side and to be quite frank if there were sides, which there aint, you aint on mine, you try and disguise your words, where as i and my friends say it as it is you try and mask them behind inuendo and wordplay, well this word play has come and bitten you on the butt. i was not the only one in the forum to see it.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
