Good thread idea, reminder, rayna! It's very tough to think of things to feel grateful for when depressed. . . . and anything I think of feels like a "lie." (though I know it's the depression) I am grateful for my home, and my dog (and the new baby snakes in the nest I found today??? well???maybe not.) Life goes on.

Grateful for today:

I am migraine free and can actually listen to music, I can deal with light, and in general do stuff!

I think a poem is cooking in me, no clue yet exactly what it will be about

The very fun book I am reading

The results of all the cleaning I've been doing

Hot cup of good tea

Great thread...I love thinkin about the greatful things something I really need to look at when I am hurting this much.

Thankful for my daughter who I love so much & turned out so well considering she had us for parents. We are now able to talk for hours & enjoy each other.....the biggest blessing I could ever have.

My horse being ok after his stumble....nothing worse than a 6 inch gash that was sutured.

My equine vet who is the most wonderful vet & cares for my equine children as much as I do....besides a great person to know (we are able to chat alot over the last year)

Thankful for my yearling IZZY...probably the best thing that every happened in my life....such love between us is awsome & truely undescribable.

Thankful for my new little puppy that Tinny had 2 weeks ago...he is a strong healthy, spoiled only child....can't wait until Leo teaches him all the bad doggie tricks.

Thankful that the ER finally did all the treatment necessary for my concussion & neck injury that happened....& the cat scan turned out negative....(no fractured hip like last time)....at least nothing more than the hurtz to get over & will be back in the saddle soon.

Thankful that today when I woke up, I felt like a smaller truck hit me than the one yesterday.

I am glad for my psychologist that is also a good coach for everything I am going through right now besides the trauma & issues that happened when my Mother was dying at the beginning of the year. Glad that we share love for our horses & dressage riding.

Thankful that last year is only in my memories now.....even though the memories still haunt with flashbacks.

Thankful that my future is going to be a place where I can share it with my horses, dogs, & any other critters I can bring home & I will be in a peaceful place finally.

Thankful for my neighbor who used to work where I did 11 years ago & a couple of other friends I have.

Thankful for everything I can't think of right now.

Debbie

I am grateful for the people I have in my life who I know I can go to anytime if I am having an agonising day.

I am grateful that I have family.

I am grateful for my guitar.

For my stereo

My computer (so I can come here)

I am grateful that I have achieved so much

I am most grateful for all the people who have helped me in so many ways. Without them I don't know where I'd be.

I am grateful for alot of things.

I am grateful for this post. It's good to be reminded to be grateful instead of thinking of all the bad stuff.

What are you greatful for today? What are you greatful for today?

Today I am grateful for:

food, decent shelter, clean water, fresh air

no migraine today!

walking in autumn sun, admiring the changing color of leaves

good books and music

the contentment of re-arranging my furniture and belongings, liking how I've set things up

my wonderful son

that I have so much to be grateful for that I cannot even adequately begin to list What are you greatful for today?
