Hello,

I have actually been busy at work the past week. My department is so cheap they use old computers running NT 4. It has so many security flaws in it that the IT dept started cutting my dept off the intranet. I have been busy applying patches and virus updates, as well as rebuilding several laptops that all decided to die at the same time.

All that meant no time at work to be online, then too fed up with computers when I got home to do much.

It is so much better to have a busy day at work! If it stayed this way I would not even want to look for a new job. As it is, I realized I have to stay until Jan 2004 just so that I can get another year's vacation pay. That is several thousand dollars! I can not walk away from that. This means that if (ha! ha!) someone shows a sign of interest in hiring me, I will have to convince them to work with me to keep this job until Jan.

I am totally out of the loop with what is going on here. Any new controversies?

welcome back kvinn. we missed you! I think the timing will work out on your job situation. BP has some timing needs on his job too. Somehow these kinds of things tend to drive ya crazy then pull through at the last minute. I am probably in fairy dreamland, but that's how it's worked for me so far. I hope my theory holds for you and BP. *hugs*
