The past 4.5 years have been a growth experience for me. I have gotten involved in metal health advocacy and helping others with depression and bi-polar disorder. We've held support groups bi-weekly during this time. But I'm very sad to say that our support group has ended-at least for now. We are are waiting to see where the Lord takes next. We are still very active in other mental health events and Larry still writes the blog. However, I miss the meetings with others I've come to care deeply about. We may start the group again this fall, but with a different approach. We are going to Nebraska to learn more about another support group. We'll open the new group with a Christ-centerd focus.
