I'm just wondering how often you guys post on PC? And also, how does posting benefit you?

You can break the answers up into both starting you own thread, or posting on other peoples threads. Do you think it benefits you more when you post about your own problems and receive feedback? Or do you benefit more from interacting with and supporting others?

Just curious....

Depends on how I'm feeling, sometimes I post a lot when things are tough and when I feel strong I try to support other posters...I think giving support and receiving support both help me, but in different ways

I post every single day but don't often start my own threads. I like to respond to other posts and reach out where I can. It just makes me feel good.

Crying isn't a sign of weakness. It's a sign of having tried too hard to be strong for too long.

I don't start many threads myself because I haven't had a need to.

I chat, and I post on other peoples' threads when I feel I have something relative to say. That gives meaning to my own experiences, so I would say I benefit more from interacting with others.

I post daily and maybe too much. I never start a thread because I like to answer rather then start an initial one.

I haven't missed a day on PC since I became a member nine months ago. I play games, read and write messages, (PM and profile), post pix, and try to provide support when and where I can. I never post (I did a couple of times early on) but I realized almost immediately that there isn't a person here that can relate to the severity of my Bipolar 1 and all accompanying side effects and issues. I wouldn't wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. I truly am in my own catagory here. PC is my life.........I've said it many times. Without PC and my friends, I wouldn't have a life now. Ok........I'm done. A million thanks to my friends, you know who you are....... grey

I post when I feel like it. I try to answer posts which need answering. I post threads when I down but sometimes people hardly answer to my posts. That shows people really care (sarcasm).

my posting varies. sometimes I post two or three times a day (or night) sometimes once a day and sometimes as few as once in a two or three week time slot.

it all depends on my work load, ( whether Im on the day shift, night shift, how many cases I have at the moment, whether Im on rotations and call at the hospital and crisis center,) and whats going on in my home life. my work and home life is first priority over my being at my computer posting here.

I post when I have time and see a thread I feel like my input would be of some use on. I enjoy talking to people, though you're unlikely to ever see me post in-depth about my own history and life. I'm too private for that. Otherwise . . . yeah, I'm just here to engage in conversation and might post a thread when I feel like I could start a discussion about something not already being discussed.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
