And it got nowhere. I finally made an appointment and went. Liked the guy. Liked me. Did an intake appt and said next step was physical. Went to next appt and was told they couldn't see me because they forgot I had a secondary insurance they don't take. So now I'm back to square zero.

Not square zero! You got an appointment for phase one and met a dr you like! Maybe you'll get just as lucky with someone covered by your insurance!

or, maybe this is the time of year to switch insurance companies ? before you have a diagnosis ?
