Why am I so Vocal as a Trans person? Below are a list of my brothers and sisters who lost their lives last year for being who they are. Sadly I watch every year as the numbers increase. It also shows why more Trans people are not vocal about there identity. In the list you will find Roy Antonio Jones III who was only 16 Months old. It is so sad that someone so young never have a chance but it illustrates ideally the pressures we face. This list is testament as to why there should be no silence in the masses. You may not like us for what ever reason, but no one deserves to die for being themselves. I ask for everyone to read the list and realize that when you stand up to intollerence you can make a difference. We as human beings need to tell the world that Trans discrimination is wrong and not allow it to grow into more senseless death. I am a friend of Ethan St.Pierre who populated this list and works vigilantly for the rights of our community. No one should have to suffer for simply being themselves. Unfortunately, the result is often repressed, misunderstood and lonely. Makes me sad to think about this reality for so many people in this world.

I often become angry when I hear the awful things that bullies did ~ countless people throughout the world have struggled and lived through open cruelty. I'd venture to say that at least 1/4 of the people in the world have been abused at some time. Therefore, we should have a lot more sympathy for people.
