Not that anybody notices, hardly, when I'm here,
 but just in case the two people who respond to me are looking for me, I'm going to be unavailable for a while. I'm having surgery on my left arm Friday and won't be typing anytime soon! Maybe I can still lurk, though.  Candy |

thanks all i am hot tired cranky sore have a 9000 lb cast and my sister is being a *****. time to do some drugs and go to bed but evertyhing went ok.

i was home 2hrs after they finished -- drive-thru surgery! good pain meds but the cast needs to go :-)

there needs to be an icon for "exhausted".......
sis just left, not a minute too soon. went to walmart yesterday and boght $70 worth of things i can get into one-armed. mostly sweats, and they arecertainly very warm! i suppose that's why they call them "sweats," as after the one-armed cleaning frenzy sis made me do, i am drenched. next step is to figure out how to wash my hair without getting the cast wet...... time to go veg in front of the packer game i think. thanks everyone for thinking of me. candy |

yup, out of the 24 replies, one of the two of us is responsible for 6 ;-P. seriously tho, i appreciate the good thoughts.
the cast isn't any lighter and i have been feeling so good that i've pushed it a little and now hurt like heck. i've been in bed with my arm up and laying on a gel-pack to see if "ice" will help it any. i'm starting to figure out that i'm actually injured here and should start behaving accordingly.....or i'm going to run out of pain drugs before my return dr. visit on wed.! candy |
