I saw the cutest little dog in this shop and i really wanted to buy it because I was having the saddest day and i wanted something to cuddle. The lady at the counter asked me who it was for so i told her it was for me. I'm 25 years old. lol. Then I asked her if i could have a bag because I didn't want people to see me carrying the dog. I was so embarrassed. But i love my little dog. I called him Wilson. last night i took him to bed and cuddled him. Anyone else have any confessions about taking teddies to bed. he he. I bought a cuddly toy yesterday!

I bought a cuddly toy yesterday! I have a little Grover and a little Elmo. They are beanie-baby-like. I highly recommend this strategy for any childless woman over 25, as an outlet for maternal feelings. I bought a cuddly toy yesterday!

I have had a stuffed polar bear that my grandparents gave me after a trip to Nova Scotia when I was 3. I'm 22, in college and STILL sleep with him!

Don't tell anyone, but I secretly snuggle with some of my daughter's animals that she leaves in my bed. Currently it's a really soft, half stuffing, half beads-filled weiner dog. I bought a cuddly toy yesterday!

ohhh, so sweet. I have baby dolls to see and duddle with in the rocking chair, and teddies to come to bed with me. Now hubby complains because currently there are 3-4 dogs in the bed depending on if my son is home or not. They are soft and warm.

Ok.....I am 52 & have the real live cuddly white american eskimo dogs that I snuggle with. Last year when I was in the hospital for 10 days with asthma.....I went down to the gift store & they had the cutest little white stuffed dog......I couldn't resist at all. I was so lonely for my own dogs that this one kept me company in the hospital where I couldn't have my real ones.

After the hospital, he had his place of honor with all my other stuffed toys (turtle, hypo, frog, & 100's of others) that line up along the side of my day bed. When I was in the hospital for 2 months at the beginning of this year, my little white stuffed dog went with me. 2 months without my real thing was torture. My husband brought my real ones to the hospital & I tried to sneek them in....no luck....but my little white stuffed dog continued to keep me company.

Today, my little white stuffed dog still has a place of honor in my bed & now my little 8 week old puppy (who I finally named Tiny Tim....Timmy) loves to curl up on top of him (the stuffed dog is bigger then my puppy).....I will put the photo of it in my gallery under eskielover. Timmy must think of this a little bit like mommy only he can't get any milk out of that one.

My real problem is that I would love to have my real horse in bed with me.....but she is as big as the bed so have to enjoy the stuffed one I have that looks like her.

I have to confess that I have so many stuffed animals that I had to move some of them off my bed because there wasn't any room for me to lay anymore. Is that being an obsessive collector & at the age of 52 to top it all.

I love to collect the unusual ones like the turtles, hipos, lobsters, I love moose, alligators, pigs, penguins, foxes, elephants.....I go for the exotic ones & the big ones that I can put my arms around & hug.

I will never be too old for my stuffed toys to snuggle with even when I have the real things the stuffed ones don't have to go out for their potty walks.

True confessions,
Debbie

Oh, so i'm not the only one. I wanted to take my Wilson out with me when I went to drop some videos back before. How hilarious is that? He's so cuddly. I have always made my toys into males. I wonder if it's because I trust guys more. This is even sadder...I was telling Wilson about how miserable I am today. I'm starting to worry. Lol. Actually, if Wilson answers back, then I will be worried. Lol

I have a stuffed dog named Winston. I don't sleep with him but he is always lying around somewhere. I have a little Santa suit for him so when I have a New Year's party I always dress him up and bring him downstairs.

I've got a looooot of Beanie Babies. Mostly dogs, because I love dogs. And I also have a lot of teddies on, under and around my bed...but I'm still a teenager, so we all have teddies, and we just pretend we don't... I bought a cuddly toy yesterday!

I have a little brown beanie baby teddy bear that stays in my headboard of my bed. He looks like he has been through a war and I always kiss him goodnight. I also have a bigger brown teddy that sits by my bed with a bunny.
I like ANY soft floppy stuffed animal though.

I forgot to say I also have a teddy that I sent to a dying friend in the hospital..2000 miles away, because I couldn't get there. He received it, then after he died, his sister sent it back to me.

It has wild looking, messy fur and I've slept with it when I was feeling bad and thought maybe it connected me to my friend somehow.
Maybe it did, because it helped.
He sits on my nightstand when he isn't in bed with me.

I am sure they have a connection to friends like that Gemini.

I feel really lucky because I have my mothers 1st teddy bear....since the other valuable things were stolen by the RN......but glad she didn't see the value in the teddie.

GUILTY!! I bought a cuddly toy yesterday!

When I was 17 years old, I was a ward of the State & was required to visit w/ my parents up North. Upon one visit, I just happened to see this medium-sized yellow, extremely huggable teddy bear. It happened w/o my conscious thought. I apparently started carrying HIM around the house & just couldn't put him down/ didn't know why! I bought a cuddly toy yesterday!

By Sunday, we could not be separated & my mother said, "Why do I get the feeling I will be seeing that bear waving to us from the back of the bus?" I bought a cuddly toy yesterday!

She was right...I named him "Pookie" (before I even knew about Garfield's teddy) & even today when I was feeling down
I held his gray-yellowed, limp body next to mine & I felt better.(He has not left my side since age 17)

I turn 44 next month..........so, anyone wanna give us a hard time about having a cuddly toy? I bought a cuddly toy yesterday!Dare ya!

Here's to our cuddly toys! I bought a cuddly toy yesterday! I bought a cuddly toy yesterday! I bought a cuddly toy yesterday! I bought a cuddly toy yesterday! I bought a cuddly toy yesterday!DAYZEE9

I have tons of stuffed animals in my bed. Several cats, dogs, wolf, pig, turtle, lobster, bunny, hamster, bear, etc. I also have a body pillow. I hug them all the time.

I used to feel embarassed, but then, I love them and they comfort me. Guess that's the most important thing. How they made me feel.

Glad you have a doggie to cuddle. I bought a cuddly toy yesterday!

Oh how cute. I love pooh bear as well. Interesting about how someone else said that all their teddies were male. Once I bought this beautiful teddy for my nanna and one for myself as well. They were exactly the same. When she died they put the teddy in the coffin and now whenever I look at my teddy I think about how the present that I gave to my nanna is with her. (Feel sorry for that poor teddy though) But it makes me feel really special that something I gave my nanna was put in the coffin. I'll keep that teddy forever.

A pooh belly button ring. That would look so cool. But you would have to watch out for the bees. I bought a cuddly toy yesterday!
