Hi folks,

A colleague of mine is publishing a free therapist rating service online. He'd like your help in testing it, however, and putting in some initial reviews and ratings of therapists you have had direct experience with. The experience can be a positive one or a negative one, but he is hoping to have people be fairly objective when rating and reviewing their therapist.

<A target="_blank" HREF=http://therapistratings.com/>http://therapistratings.com/</A>

As an added incentive to help test it, for every member who enters in a legitimate review and rating of a therapist, he is going to automatically enter that person into a drawing for a free Amazon.com gift certificate. The drawing will be held at the end of the testing period. No purchase required, void where prohibited.

Best,
John

Forgot to add that my friend doing this site (which I think is a great idea, btw) will be reading the forums for additional public feedback (in addition to that you might send to him directly).

argh... if you do this... register first. I lost all my information. I doubt I'll bother to do it again

the instructions in the "how to get started" section say you need to register before you can add or review a therapist.

I never read instructions! I did go back and finish the evaluation and it had saved the part that I wrote the most on. I'm glad I went back. I'm winning the Amazon gift certificate!

I like this idea, too. I for one, would *** HIGHLY *** recommend my child's psychologist. This person is awesome, above and beyond the call of duty. I can't believe this person's dedication!

I've been waiting for a site like this. Thanks, DocJohn's Friend!

Hey Doc, I agree this is a good test, especially if it can help to improve the overall quality of service of mental health providers. Your friend might have increased the involvement if he would have given away an all expenses paid trip to the Bahamas. But I'm probably the only one here who would enjoy some thing like that, huh gang??? Beta-test a new therapist rating service

LOL... I'll let him know.

BTW, it looks like only 6 folks have taken him up on his offer so far, so you have a very good chance of winning the gift certificate still. He's said he's going to end the testing on Nov. 5, so you have until then to try it out and review a therapist.

That may certainly be true, BP, but of course I *know* that you will invite me along as your companion, right friend?

I would prefer and think it would be better if we were asked to put the location of the therapist rather than our personal location. Other than that, I love it!

We'd like to thank everyone who participated in testing of the new service. We held a drawing for the Amazon.com gift certificate and the winner is:

darkeyes!!

Congrats and thanks to everyone for helping us test it.
