I was wondering what kind of profession people have, if your boss knows you are BP, and how you successfully manage your careers.
I tend to blow things out of proportion, and have trouble with being inflexible with my work duties.
I worry I may get fired because of the health care costs related to the BP, and it makes the company insurance go up.
Sometimes when I am confused and have trouble focusing I am afraid I will make a big mistake and get fired.

Well, I was a teacher and my hospitalizations caused more harm than help with my job. After so many hospitalizations, my boss was in compassionate and raised my anxiety level by telling me that my workload would increase next school year. I had to make a decision. I decided to file for early retirement in order to avoid losing my job because of my illness.
I don't know what profession you are in, but I would talk to your boss to assess where he or she is with regards to your work performance and express the concerns you have. You never know, you may open the door for your boss to make accommodations and modifications for you in order to make your life easier. Let me know how it goes.
