Got the grip for the holidays X 5. Oh what fun. Came home to chaos, dirty house etc and now a son who is feeling depressed and suicidal. They don't see what we see and vice versa. The girlfriend is a parasite. I am still sick. In bed and not a happy camper. Alas, sometimes keeping my mouth shut is the best way to go.

Know when to keep it shut. My new motto.

I'm glad to see you back. Sorry about all the stuff you continually have to deal with. I'm at a loss with how to help you with all that - it would have me overwhelmed too. But I got this book for Christmas called "Whenever Your Attitude Stinks... Read This" by Wayne Allred. Some of it is rather crude, but it's actually kind-of funny, or at least shows you how things could be even worse, so maybe you have something to be thankful for afterall. Here's one of the items from the book. I hope you get a chuckle out of it.

Many vegetarians, long plagued by nutritional and immune system deficiencies are finally getting some relief using a good old fashioned treatment. Researchers at Gump State institute for Sociopathic Medicine have found that they get fewer colds and have more energy when they pick up a little extra protein from the common cereal weavil usually found in their granola and Grape Nuts. Dr. Aanos Brainmold insists that since he started a daily regimen of not picking out the weevil in his Granola...combined, of course, with an hour-a-day of aerobic exercise, consistently getting his 8+ hours of uninterrupted sleep since his kids moved out, sneaking an occasional Big Mac on the side, added to his weekly gelatin, bean sprout, and tofu enemas, and since they finished his chemotherapy, his energy level has tripled...and he hardly gets sick anymore.
