 I would like to start a thread here and I would like to each of you to join in, if you want of course, because I think this would be helpful and also because maybe we will understand better certain situations. How can we support one another on this site? There is different ways to support. Sometime a way will help a person and sometime a different way will help another. Sometime support takes sensibility but sometime it takes more a direct approach. So how about sharing ways to support? We could each write down one way but "without criticizing" anything that will be written down by a member in this thread. I will start by: Kindness |

I think being patient, understanding, open minded, selfless, yet a little selfish.
I believe people would benefit if they learn to accept reality and the truth as well. Even if it hurts. I also believe honesty is crucial, even if it can offend the person in a fragile state of mind. That's what were here for, honest advice. Desirae (sorry more than one word)

I think all these are pretty good.
I dont think I have much to add. Just because you havent walked in someones shoes, doesnt mean you never will. Be understanding, carring and compassionate. Listen and never judge. |
