I'm going into the er, will most likely be checking into a hospital. Not sure for how long or anything.

I got back last night. I realized I forgot my pillow up there though =O I have to call up there and see if they can send it back to me. This hospital was so much better than the last one I was in, it wasn't sterile and actually encourages friendships among patients. =) The groups were cool, not unrealistic and akward like the last hospital, too. to each of you for your support

Oh, I realized I hadn't given a full update:
I had trouble sleeping last night, not sure if it was because I was out, or because that is what I am used to doing at home. The only concern I had about getting out was they didn't provide me with any of the new meds for the weekend, just an rx...which I can't get filled until Monday =O Oh and they didn't tell me the side effects of them taking me off paxil 40s cold turkey...but I found a handbook and noticed some of what I was feeling was caused by it. (Dizziness, nausea, feeling of electric shocks occasionally). They have an Intensive Outpatient Treatment program, that takes around a year to go through...but the center is a little over an hour away, so no option for me to attend it. I do have an appointment with a tribal health mhworker...possibly my case will be transferred to a closer facility. Tribal MH is almost 1/2 hour away...if it does get transferred my appointments will only be 5 mins away. Much easier as I have to find people to bring me, as I can't drive (RA related). Speaking of RA related, I was shooting hoops with a great girl that I plan to stay in touch with and I couldn't make a 3 point shot =( That has always been my best range to make shots from...it made the way RA has affected my life really hit me. During wrap up that evening I kind of broke down, even though I thought I had already 'made peace' with my life as influenced by RA. I guess I haven't =P |

I know its probably bad...but I'm feeling REALLY good, even without my meds...and a little part of me would love to stay off and stay feeling this good. But my past says I probably won't stay feeling good...so will be sending my husband up to the pharmacy to pick up my risperdal. Oh and methotrexate...I only had 3 to take Friday =O Supposed to be taking 6.
