Gurl has been diagnosed with brain cancer. She is very ill and needs our prayers and support. As you know, Gurl misses her parents very much. She lost them both not too long ago. She is being adopted, but it is very scary for her and now she has cancer. Please support her in every way you can. She asked me to post this for her so she knows it's here.

My love & prayers are with you. I just lost my mother to cancer exactly 1 year ago & know how hard dealing with cancer can be. My prayers are for you to get better &/or have the cancer go into remission.......but mostly that your life is in the hands of your higher power who is now in charge of your life. It is important for you to enjoy your life & do those things that you have always wanted to do. There is always ability for remission & never loose that faith, but the experience I had with my Mother was that she was never honest about how she was & for me it was so hard knowing what was happening & not being able to talk it over with her because she wasn't willing to listen to anything other than what her surgeon told her "I got is all in the surgery". His lack of honesty was so hard to deal with because I saw what was happening but because he never was honest with my Mother, I couldn't discuss so many things that I felt were necessary with her. I realize that this is a post that may not seem supportive but I hope that you understand that I really am supporting you & praying for your remission, but also praying for your ability to be strong through everything that is ahead of you & be close to those loving people who are around you. They need your closeness as much as you need theirs......which is something I found out the hard way in that I didn't have the closeness of my Mother.....& I think it will hurt for the rest of my life. It was so hard on me not knowing the truth from the Dr's, & only being able to observe what was going on without knowing the real truth from anyone. Take care of yourself & put your trust in your Dr's (& to be politically correct.), trust in your higher power.....they are given to you for the best care you can receive. I will pray for your strength to get through this. I know you don't know me, but if you ever feel the need to PM, I will be here to support you much more than this post sounds like. I just felt like I needed to express how much the truth means to those us who are around you while you are dealing with cancer. My love to you & prayers for your strength & the ability for your body to have the cancer go into remission, Debbie

please know that i will pray for you.......also want you to know that there are many new treatments now for brain cancer and that there is hope! my mom had it and lived a long time.......
