I think it went okay. I should know either tomorrow or Friday.
Hubby has an interview with a Security company right now. He'd be perfect for that job. I really hope he gets it.

Really glad your interview went well & you will have an answer soon. Hate when these things drag out.
Hope the interview went well for your husband. My heart goes out to you. It's like puff, the rug's pulled out from under you & then, what do we do now... We have been & still going thru husbands job loss in construction. It's been 3 yrs & he's just starting to come out of his "cave" a little bit... He works at a restaurant now, not crazy about it but it's a job & we would loose our home without it. Just know you are not alone & keep us posted.

Thank you! Hubby actually got the job!!
 The only problem is, he has to do a class before he can start working. The class is today, an hour and a half from us up by Denver. It's snowing like crazy, super cold, and windy as heck, from here all the way up to Denver. He'd have to leave by 6am, and then drive back tonight in this weather. So we're trying to decide if he should risk it or wait for the next class. Of course, the sooner he starts working the better, but he can't work if he's dead or in the hospital either.

I got the job!!!!!!!!!! Oh man, I'm so excited I'm shaking. I'm starting next week.
With both of us having jobs, there might actually be a christmas for the kids this year.

My Support Forums is the online community that was originally begun as the Psych Central Forums in 2001. It now runs as an independent self-help support group community for mental health, personality, and psychological issues and is overseen by a group of dedicated, caring volunteers from around the world.
I posted about it in Depression. Because my husband lost his job and we're barely getting by, we had to rehome all of our animals except for one cat. And my son still has his rats and his hamster. But the other cat and all the dogs are gone. We just can't afford to take care of them right now. It was an incredibly difficult decision, but we knew it was the right one when our Basset started limping a couple of days before the new owners were going to pick her up, and we couldn't afford to take her to the Vet. Luckily, when I told the new owners, they came immediately and got her to take her in. It's a sad sad situation, and I feel horrible, but we found them all awesome homes, the cat we had to bring back to the shelter we got her from, that was a requirement.
