recently my T has been working with me to help me with meditation and mindfulness. i do feel it is helping me. i'm sure some may not agree with these findings but hope others may want to consider this in soothing the mind, so to speak. the article is fairly long but due to large pics on the pages.

many people have used DBT with success, but for the past 6 yrs i have been using a brain repair technology that stablizes the mood swings and other disorders, called Holosync (you can buy it at CenterPointe.com). it offers a permanent solution in less time than meditation, i find. best wishes, Madi

I for one find mediation helps me stop the 'chatter' in my mind. Usually that chatter is negative thoughts, but when I do still mind meditation I can stop the noise, pause in the stillness of mind and regather my peacefulness (can be called grounding) regardless of what is going in my life.
I highly recommend still mind mediation. It takes plenty of practice yet it is so worth the discipline of mind.

When I woke up this morning all I could feel was stress and also realized that my breathing pattern wasn't healthy. I tried hard to let my mind go to a more peaceful place, but failed. Finally got out of bed - hoping both the mental and physical pain would go away. Didn't happen.
I think it might be time to find a coach IRL who can teach/help me with a meditation strategy.
