Thank you for posting this. I love barley and make a delicious stew with vegetables and stewing meat. Stewing meat - which is meat you simmer for an hour or more is also less expensive.

Thanks, Marla, I used to eat oatmeal, but got away from it because I didn't think there was much nutrition in it. Well, I'm glad to know that it really is a good food, esp. due to being a good source of two kinds of fiber.
