No my friends I really have not been around. A lot of life and being away, a lot of computer go phooey. Some just not having answers or energy.

But here is my story. My daughter has been at the OCD treatment facility for three months and I brought her home today. She is beautiful and so smart and eating up each tool she learns. She has a pure and loving heart.

I drove down yesterday and about .5 miles from hospital in bad traffic at 3 way intersection, very narrow, my van went poop. Stopped right in the intersection. Cars were beeping and going around me and it looked like an accident waiting to happen. There was a garage 20 feet from me that I could roll to but not without hitting a few hundred people. I called 911 and the police came and stopped cars so I could get out of the road. The garage man was very kind and said it was not the dreaded transmission but the front left axle. He gave me a ride, with the puppy, luggage etc to the hospital. I do not have a credit card. My friends called him and gave him a credit card number and he came back to get me with/in 2 hours so I could drive my daughter back to our friends so she could say goodbye for now, have closure and head home after discharge meeting today. What a nice man. And the police were kind as well. Actually everyone was. It's funny but the poor little puppy was the biggest attraction.

So we went to visit our friends and I brought her back for her last night there. I returned to my friend's and the oldest daughter usually loves to give her bed to me and just got a new one and new paint etc. Dad was all embarrassed. I said hey look, I can sleep in the den with puppy in the pack and play I brought. He had me sleep in the living room on the new couch instead and I actually did fine. Puppy woke up at 4:50 when my friend left for work. I woke around 7 to my female friend playing video games waiting for her day care kids. Cut little children.

So we had the discharge meeting and packed and headed off. I was very sleepy for part of the trip and that was scarey. Daughter slept about the whole way, as did puppy.

Came home to a very messy home and I wasn't so happy. dishes and dirt and a lot of laundry. oh well.

Daughter is doing fine. On computer already. She is amazing and I love her to peices. I need to see when/if i am treating her as she were younger. For example at the drug store picking up her meds there I held her hand in the parking lot but it's an affection/together thing. I used to hold my Jane's hand all of the time. I hold hubby and I hold other friends as well.

The dogs are making me crazy. The katrina pair are really needing therapy and we are quessing how to treat them. Loud and messy! We will no doubt settle in.

The media has picked up on our dog poisonings and there is a reward being offered. Tomorrow it's more fencing.

Hope this isn't too boring, just felt out of touch. That's my update.

I hope they catch this killer, lock him up and throw away the key. They say people that abuse/kill animals,go on to humans, or do both.
I am so sorry to hear all that you and your family have been through, I wish for you, better days to come soon.
Please take care,
DE

I too hope that he is held legally and financially responsible. I want to be able to tell him who these four legged people were and who we are and how his illness has affected us. Only at a sentencing hearing. Civil court may be the best option for getting money back but we are in a holding pattern. I want him to see what he has become. Yes, he does beat his wife, used to his step-daughter. Yes he is scarey, but he is also a bully and a coward. Thanks for your thoughts and well wishes.

Glad to see the update, hun, but so sorry for all the crud you've been going through!!

You mentioned the "katrina pair." Did you adopt dogs who were rescued from Hurricane Katrina? The cat I have is also a Katrina cat...and when I went to adopt her from the shelter, thre was a whole roomful of cats that were in isolation until they were ready to be adopted.

As for the murderer.....I'll just stop there before my tongue gets away from me.

2 Katrina dogs. Both of which are very difficult at the moment. Ahh, poops and pees and not eating and biting the puppy and.... I think I am insane. They will adjust.
