Really loud. When I lay in bed at night the silence is deafening. The breathing over the person next to me sounds distant and muted. in my ear!! It feels like a pressure over me, sounds i cant quite pick up. I feel crazy, haha, anyone else?

I experience both extremes - the silence is never without sounds, and when it's noisy I tune things out and don't hear what's being said. I also have hypervigilance and jump out of my seat if the phone rings or the doorbell chimes. I finally disconnected the doorbell and have the ring on the lowest volume on the phone. Then there are times when there are fire trucks right on my street (and it's a very narrow dead end) that I didn't even hear until the neighbors talk about it the next day. I also hear bells, voices and knocks etc that aren't there. I'm not sure when to even check who's at the door because there usually isn't anyone there. Not sure if this is what you are talking about, but yes, it really is frustrating and scary at the same time.

Thanks Peter, that's kind of the conclusion i had to come to. Been having to go to sleep with headphones on and my music on just enough to drown out the silence. I finally slept!! Just woke up at 130pm after going to bed at 11. Time to go to work though

Great to hear that. I fell asleep yesterday and woke up about 3:30am...a little early but I'll take it....
