do you ever feel like the world is falling apart around you??? I am sure that you all have at some time or another... I just feel like I am standing in a house where the walls are falling down around me... arrrrghhhhh

Maybe not THE world, but definitely MY world.

I'm in the midst of it right now. I keep telling myself things have been worse and they've worked out. I just need to hang in there. I'm not sure it's working, but it's better than giving in to it.

I'm sitting here looking at all the clutter in my world and feeling that urge to just throw it all away and start from scratch. Not a very practical solution though. I kind of need my kitchen table to at least keep more junk from ending up on the floor.

I have felt like a house landed on me, when suddenly I was in charge of caring for my aging parents. Before my only and older sibling (by 12 years) had passed away I was the "baby" of the family. It was like how did I go from being the "baby" to making life and death decisions.

Then my life as I knew it, fell apart four years ago.

I'm just digging my way out of the world caving in on me. Since I've surfaced, I found out that not the WHOLE world caved in. It just felt that way.

I just have to remember to breathe and take it one thing at a time..I need to focus on one thing and eal with that and not try to deal with all of it at once.... when i try to do that , i become confused and start panicing.... not a good combo right????

YES.... I used to feel like that every day of my life, but I am now glad to say that was years ago.... things are looking better these days - my personal HEALING is helping with my own inner out look on many things and people.

Same situation here which I know is at least a tiny bit playing into the depression - it's like...where do I start. I keep telling myself "baby steps."

Sometimes it feels like nothing is going right and it's depressing and frustrating. It's like one has no control over one's life and one starts feeling helpless, then hopeless.
