I just wanted to share an experience. I thought I would try a B-Complex Vitamin for some energy. Well the one I tried also had herbs in it and I didn't think much about them. I sure got a wake up call on this one. I got really depressed after taking them. I didn't notice much energy. I wasn't sure what was going on at first, then I made the connection with the herbs in the vitamin. I stopped taking it and I feel better. So, if anyone is thinking about taking vitamins and they contain herbs, make sure they won't affect you in a negative way.

Good thought; that and making sure your doctor knows what vitamin/herbs you are taking. A lot do not get along with prescription medicines. My B-complex just has some C in it too; no herbs :-)

I avoid all herbs. I tried SAM-e and it made me high. I do take fish oil pills, which has helped increase my good cholesterol. Fish oil and calcium with Vitamin D are the only supplements that I would recommend.

May I ask what these herbs are?
