I work from home and for years, some of the work I do is for my father-in-law. I do not get paid for this though my husband does not have to pay rental for work premises owned by my FIL.
He does not communicate with me. He does no co-operate with me. I have resorted to writing stern memos, to no avail. I have to wait months for paperwork and when I receive it, it is too late to re-concile. Just this morning he gave me a MacDonalds slip from February 2005????? MacDonalds????? He continually leaves cheque stubs blank and I must suck the info out of thin air. If he has written on the stub it is 1000% illegible. He has just phoned me demanding to know why I have not issued a certain invoice. I have said (over and over) that I am not invoicing until I receive some required paperwork. He says "oh but I have it here, so just do it". So, I will do it - and then he will lose the paperwork! He was patronizing and condescending. I blew up at him on the phone just now saying that I don't know how he expects me to do my work when he doesn't bother to do as I ask (and require). I wish I could lay down an ultimatum and tell him that if he does not "come right", I will no longer do his books. I KNOW he will not come right so the ultimatum will be fruitless and will just cause tension amongst us all. My husband, who bears the brunt of my anger, says I should just get used to it as he will never change. Well, I'm not getting used to it at all. Infact, the whole thing is bringing out the worst frustration! Thanks - I needed that whine! Now maybe I should get some wine!

I have pet allergies and where I live there are 13 cats, 2 large dogs, a rabbit, a hedgehog, and several smaller rodents to feed to the several snakes. I'm forever stepping something wet and I can never be sure what it is or what animal (if any) it has come from. And all the pet hair grosses me out.
Thanks for this space. I feel much better now lol.

oh oh oh....what a good idea....a little whining can be beneficial at times.
I would like to start off with my husband is a jerk, I'm on the complete end of my line with him. My sister has disappeared, with the baby, and it pisses me off that she has me worried like this. My mom calls me everyday telling me she's sober...but then I call at night she is gone.....she's still a freaking junkie. I talk to my dad for the first time in years, and the first thing he said to me was...."you haven't been praying enough".....what a quack! My children have colds and are snotting all over the place. My car is taking a %#@&#!. And................I want more....much much more for me and my children's life...but it's all taking to long!! Okay, thanks I feel better.
