Hi, Everybody. I'm feeling compelled to apologize to those who have been hurt by my posts. I'm painfully aware that some have been banned from the board after I was involved in posting to them and that threads have been locked after I have posted. The fact remains, though, that I haven't been warned. All of this is confusing to me because I know some people are quite displeased with me.
It's a fact that we can't always please all of the people all of the time. For the most part, I feel that my side of the arguments has been right. Yet, I'm not comfortable with the fact that other people are getting hurt because of it. I've also been aware for a few years that my writing can sometimes seem harsh and intimidating. In my view, it's just that I don't beat around the bush... "I calls 'em as I sees 'em." I don't know how to do it any other way. What is strange, is that I have used the grammar checker on my word processor and it tells me that I am writing in the "passive voice"?? Maybe I'm not understanding. What I want everyone here to know is that I am aware of what is happening and I don't like it any more than anyone else. This statement in itself may sound harsh, but I have to make it: "I'm convinced by my life's lessons that many of the things that I say are right. It's just the way I express myself that may be wrong." My heart-felt apologies to those who have been hurt by my statements.  He's making a list and checking it twice...

 I think I posted this response in the wrong thread up there.. but here it is again. I haven't looked at what happened. Fortunately, I am blissfully clueless and will remain that way. You haven't done anything to upset me in the least and you will always be in my "everyone" category!

Willow, there's nothing wrong with being "ignorant" of some things. LOL Being "ignorant" isn't being stupid or dumb. BIG difference.
