It's always neutral or bad. I would like to have a good Psych Central mood.

That's why I just never choose a mood for those things, on any website, ever!

If I ever do put down cheerful or something positive I will immediately begin to doubt it.

I never use the mood thingy. I don't want to declare that I feel horrible today or whatever. Its defeating and I think I gain more from affirmations that suggest how I 'want' to feel and think and be. Stating that I feel horrible or that I am angry or anything negative like that has a way of giving the negative message a stronger foothold in my brain. Declaring a negative, even if it is reality, is not affirming for me. I don't need fuel for a pity party. I can flame one up all by myself. And if I were to see day after day after day of depressed, anxious, sad, etc etc it would make me feel that much worst. Like why bother!
I think mood tracking for the purpose of providing information to a pdoc or therapist has value but I have no pdoc or therapist involved in my recovery so not much value for me personally there either. My journal is record enough for me. ((((Illegal Toilet))))) Here is to you enjoying a GREAT psych central day very very soon. Lets declare tomorrow as your GREAT PC DAY! Tomorrow only because today is almost gone. lol Last edited by sunblossom; Jul 04, 2012 at 05:56 PM.. |
