Hi i was wondering if you could tell me if i have a mental illness or am i just suffering from a bad childhood? Im so confused

ktwatts, I'm sorry you are so confused, and that you had a horrible childhood, I know it's difficult but even being a product of your past is cause for alarm. Do you have a t? I don't mean alarm like something is wrong, but alarm that some things should be addressed possibly with a t if you feel they are causing trouble.

We can't really diagnose here, it'd be the treatment providers that can do that, but if you feel like your mental state is causing difficulties, definately get it addressed, therapy is an incredible tool, I was afraid every time I would start in therapy, but once in I didn't want to be cut free from it, it helps so much.

Why don't you try explaining your symptoms, what's causing you concern? Maybe we can help you at least learn to manage a few symptoms until you can meet with a t?
